Fifty minutes of holding position. Whatever this is, it was here before the survey arrived and will be here after it leaves, and it has no opinion either way. The readings come back through cloud — legible, consistent, and about nothing that has been given a name yet. Now and then it comes close to resolving into something. It never quite does, and that turns out to be the point.

The longest of the three and the most tonal — the one that sounds most like the rest of the catalogue. It doesn’t ask for anything, so it holds up over long stretches. If you only run one of these while you work, run this one.

Three volumes cut from one session and released across five weeks. All three are dark; what changes between them is depth, not light — I is the shallow survey, II the mid-water, III the floor.
